Q: Whats the best rpms to take off the line at: peak horsepower, peak torque, or other?
A: As previously stated launch rpm is dictated by where in the rpm range your engine makes the most hp & torque. The best way I can think of to find out where your cars power is at is to have it put on a wheel dyno be it front or rear wheel drive,That will tell you exactly where your car is making the most power thuis determining what your launch rpm should be.
