Q: Is the track shortend or in a different configuration than what F1 races? The reason I ask is that they're turning 1:02 lap times (Pruett and Vellenuve) and the track record is by R Barrichello (2004) @ 1:13.622. Same track. Its 102 seconds not 1 minutes and 2 seconds. They are roughly 30 seconds slower than F1 was in a car that weighs 3 times as much, has much less downforce, smaller brakes, 150 or so less horsepower, and isn't really designed for road courses. Don't forget its being driven by guys who don't normally race road courses. Pretty impressive....DUH!!!!
A: i knew i would find you my love. i just looked at the track there is only one track so f1 cant be using a different track. that does not sound right nascars running faster then f1s on the same track. maybe they are cutting off part of it.
