Q: The Audi group also owns Skoda which recently withdrew from the WRC. With the new Audi Cross Coup Quattro Concept they have an excellent Rally car in the making. Having dominated Rallying in the 80's why don't they return now?
A: Wish they would, there was nothing better than standing in the Forrest and hearing the Audi Quarto flying through the trees, and then the flames spitting out of the exhaust. Now i think its more to do with the type of cars they make these days, more for the young professional than the sporting driver, OK i know they make some nice models, but I'm not sure that they believe it could go up against the Subaru or the Ford Focus these days and bring a decent result.
