A: Champ Car fans are bitter because when the IRL split, Champ Car (then CART) expected the series to falter, and the IRL teams come crawling back begging for mercy. What has happened was that IRL ended up becoming much more successful (eventually), compared to CART, to the point that CART had to declare bankrupcty, reorganize, and become Champ Car. When you think your the stronger man, and pretty much get the crap kicked out of you, your gonna be mad. And F1, if there is any hatred, it would be because of jealousy. Champ Car is, if nothing more, a stomping ground for failed F1 drivers, or, if a driver is good enough, a feeder series for that driver to move up on the way to F1. However, I never really heard of a Champ Car fan hating on F1.
