Q: I have an Evo9 and was wondering what a good rallycross set-up would be. I want the suspension hard enough to avoid body roll (with the help of some big-ol' sway bars), but soft enough to glide over the rough patches. It's all done on fairly flat ground, so wheel travel and bottoming out aren't really factors. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.
A: I belive setting the suspension just just a rally-x shouldnt be to hard. Get some dampening ajustable coilovers and some tires. Because performance tires are not going to help much. I know Yokohama and BFG make some. Yes sway bars so you can reduce the body roll but keep the suspension travel. I would ajust height to comfort level and what is on course. From there adjust the dampening. Since this seems your normal car not allot of extrame modifications can be done.
