Q: There are Much Better Forms of Motor Sports in The USA. But the Media, and people give so much attention towards the boring and wreck filled "sport" of Nascar. why is this ?
A: Good question. I'm bored of watching 3400lb dinosaurs barely glimpsing past 190mph and slow to 140 to make a lefthand banked turn. I'd rather watch SCCA, Formula 1, Drifting, WRC, SuperTrucks in Europe, SuperTouring races. The only problem is that NASCAR seems to have bought out everyone, so you're only left with redneck circle masters 21hrs a day. People think NASCAR is dangerous. How 'bout navigating a Subaru WRX w/ 300hp through the woods w/ trees on either side w/ your navigator telling you what's up ahead when traveling sideways @ 100mph. Now that's danger and skill mixed.
