Champ Car race in China Cancelled : FIA's Max Mosley won't allow it. What do you think ??

Q: http://www.speedtv.com/articles/auto/champcar/37751/ the race was suppose to take place in Zuhai, China 3 weeks after Formula 1's Shanghai GP. Why does the FIA and F1 care about what Champ Car does ?? How much longer will Champ Car be around ? China is NOT a huge Market for racing ! The goverment buys 90% of tickets for the event. And only 10 % of Chinese have disposible income to buy F1 tickets, merchandise and travel to Shanghai . of these 10% only 5 to 10% are interested in racing. As the Chinese prefer simple sports such as table tennis and badmitton.

A: Fair's fair. If a circuit operator signs a contract for a GP it has a non-competition clause that the FIA can evoke to protect its commercial interests. Shouldn't have signed the contract if it didn't like the terms. Indianapolis has a different contract due to its position in US motorsport.
