A: An IHRA sanctioned dragway located in southern Amarillo- exit Interstate 40 at Ross/Osage and head south.. The express goal of the new owners is to bring the Amarillo Dragway back to historic competitive levels. The track is open for tours Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm. Test and Tune events every Friday night, gates open at 8 pm. Check the Amarillo Dragway web site for race schedule. Call 800-622-2010 for more information.
