Q: I'm 14 and looking into starting racing in the bullring at the motor speedway but of course i would need to start by getting a car. Where is a good place and how much to find a youth car. I thought they were called "Legend Cars" but when i looked on ebay the legend cars were the old-fashioned looking ones.
A: Legend cars are old fashioned on the outside, but they are state of the art race cars on the inside. They were designed to be a starter (youth) car. At about half the size of a normal car, they are easy to maintain and relatively cheap to run. One thing you should do before purchasing a car is call the track where you are planning on racing and ask them what the minimum age is to go racing. Most track's insurance will only cover people sixteen and over.
