A: no, completely different. And it was a version of the swastika that was positive in Asia, but not the nazi flag, nor the actual way it was drawn. And the confederate flag was NEVER used or flown for something that negative. Remember the civil war and thus the confederacy wasnt about slavery, it was about taxation and the states individual rights to succeed from the union. As a matter of fact, NYS had slavery longer than any of the states in the south.
