Q: Now please note this is relatively a movie question but wanted to get some of your thoughts. IT IS RUMORED, I REPEAT RUMORED that in next years "blockbuster" Transformers 2 or "Revenge of the Fallen" which ever title they run with that a character (robot that turns into a vehicle for those of you who may not be familiar) named Wheeljack will be modeled after a NASCAR Cup stock car. So here's my question who do you think they would go after for this....don't think it would be an alcohol sponsor since the toy mfg HASBRO is involved. Can you imagine the #88 racing down a street then turning into a robot??? Or the #48 or #11. WHAT CAR WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE TURNED INTO AN AUTOBOT (GOOD GUY)??? Or could you care less???? Just thought I'd post for fun....just trying to see what ya'll think.
A: I say put Dale Jr. for this reason, he is the most popular driver and has the most posters, signs, and ads out there. Kids will be watching and since Jr. is everywhere, they can connect Transformers with Nascar everywhere they go. Kids will go nuts when they see a Transformer actually on the track. My little cousin loves Camaros now because of the first Transformers movie. Edit: I think Dale Jr. should lend his voice also.
