Q: Which driver do you think has the best chance to pass Earnhardt's & Petty's seven Cup championship record? I think Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon have the best chance. What's the opinion of my fellow NASCAR Nation members?
A: I believe Jimmie Johnson has the best chance. He hasn't been racing for a very long time, and he's already got 2 championships (right in a row, which is another big feat), and there is a possibility he could go for 3 straight. Going for a 3rd straight championship when he's still pretty early in his racing career...to me, that makes me think record breaking championships.
