Your question implies a curiosity about his ethnicity which is pretty typical of multigenerational folk from Indiana or any of the other 49 states...from dad he gets Svenska (Swedish or Nordic) and mom was/is Italian-American plus whatever other blood diversities the parents contain. Other than first generation immigrants or Native Americans not having children outside their tribes, assigning ethnicity gets really involved and a trifle pointless unless Ford, Ferrari or Garlitz are mentioned in their pedigrees.
