Q: why are they giving clints points to casey mears and putting clint on a brand new team when hel be having to qualify on time against some one like ryan newman who will be doing the same I think those first 5 races are going to be harder then usual to get into. of course he is hes a better all around driver casey mears is crap but hes not a great qualifier its not like casey is goign to make the chase and contend for any thing clint on the other hand has
A: I've been trying to find some logic to this for the past month and I really have no clue. If he's taking Clint's points to give to Casey then it's pretty clear that it's because RC doesn't think he will be able to qualify in on his own. Which if thats the case then I don't know why would he sign him in the first place. No offense to Mears fans but I don't understand why he would take the chance of screwing up Clint's season next year for a driver who has yet to prove he is even able to be consistently competitive in the cup series.
