A: kyle busch carl edwards jeff burton dale junior jimmie johnson EDIT: who me, cheat? do you see a magnet..., i mean horseshoe in my avatar? i think not. strangely enough, i didn't cheat THIS TIME. i knew already that kyle was #1. carl has been really consistent and would have been up in the points higher had he not lost 100 points after vegas. so those two with their number of wins alone made up for the few bad finishes they've had. burton is always mr. consistent, but hasn't had the wins the other two have - and each week he's finished a little lower than he was earlier in the year. junior used to be second, but his last six or eight races have really lowered his average. and jimmie johnson definitely didn't start up there, but he has been running really well for a while now. plus, the place i thought i might find the answer - nascar.com's points standing board, doesn't list average finishes. and i just got up and am too lazy right now to check racing reference for each of these guys. ;-)
