Q: Do you remember his crash at Watkins Glen in what was the Busch Series? Wasn't it one of the worst crashes you have seen? All I really have to say is thank god that wasn't a concrete wall because I don't know what the end results would have been.
A: Although that was a bad crash, the worst crash at WGlen I saw was when #70 J.D. McDuffie and #52 Jimmy Means got together in the same part of the track. Unfortunately McDuffie lost his life in that crash. The year after this crash they installed the "bus stop" so if it hadn't been for McDuffie's crash the bus stop wouldn't have been there. So Johnson's crash could have been alot worse.
