Is it all about the racing or does what a driver do off the track help determine your fan hood?

Q: I mean..is there a driver you maybe didn't care for but are warming up to him now? For me it isn't just the driving. The racing doesn't make the whole person. So for me it is Jeff Gordon. I know that Jeff and Dale Sr. were friends and that the rivalry was actually with the fans...but when Jeff went on to win the Championship the year Sr. died...well I couldn't watch a race after that for several years. Now I find myself warming up to him and then went to his official website and I was so impressed on what I read that I am finding that I truly hope to see him in Victory lane this year and another Championship sometime down the road. Watchall think??? :0) zalex...come on....be good. I can't stop being nice. Ya want me to be mean??? I would say something nasty about Kyle Denny Tony but they are my favorites as well..lol Jimmie Johnson and METALLICA??? I wouldn't have ever guessed! I saw him maybe as a Tom Petty or Sting type of person. wooley...Shane Hmiel too...can you imagine risking and losing a racing career over that? Dumb dumb dumb!

A: For me its all about what they do off the track that is important. Don't get me wrong I love to see my driver win but in the bigger picture what they do off the track hits home. If he helps people that are not quite as fortunate as us thats big time to me.. Alot of drivers go unnoticed when they give back to the community and make a difference. All or most of the drivers have a heart as big as Texas. There is not a better sport that takes care of the community than Nascar. Good people doing good things for good people. For me its Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch & Tony Stewart. Thats just a few, they all are very generous.
