A: Yes it does. Truex wanted to leave this season but DEI had an option to keep him another year if they needed him. Guess what? They needed him. Truex didn't have a choice. DEI practically forced him to stay. If it was a one year contract then I would feel sure that Truex is leaving at the end of next year which is the reason for the one year contract.
