Q: If so explain. Well gloria of course you're not going to complain we all know who you cheer for Lynn that was Kyle Busch. They left the yellow tape on his car that was supposed to be removed.
A: I have definitely seen some questionable calls on NASCAR's part. The most controversial and recent in my opinion are the 2007 Daytona 500 when there was a crash on the track, and no caution was thrown causing Mark Martin to lose the race to Kevin Harvick. The other was last year at Kansas Speedway when Biffle won though he was out of gas and stopped on the track and could not make it over the finish line keeping speed with the pace car. The second and third place cars (Bowyer and Johnson respectively) even passed him. It was quite confusing sitting in the stands watching both Biffle's and Bowyer's team celebrate in the infield. Another that comes to mind is just this season. Waltrip was parked the rest of the race for purposely wrecking somebody, while JPM was only given a two lap penalty for purposely wrecking Kyle Busch. Whether it is favortism or just pure lack of consistency with penalties from track to track is only the opinion of each individual and makes a great debate.
