I am taking my daughter to the Indy 300 in Kentucky and would like for her to meet Danica, any suggetsions?

Q: I have tickets for the fan day on August 8th if that would help.

A: Couple of suggestions: 1. You have tickets to the FanFest - excellent. It starts at 8pm. Be patient - the IndyCar Qualifications start at 6:30, and will go at least 60-75 minutes. So - there may be some tired drivers afterwards that may or may not have time to clean up, esp. if it's a hot day/evening. Danica's line will unquestionably be the longest, so be there early, if you can. 2. IndyCar practices on the 8th are from 11:15-1pm and from 2:45-4:45pm. If you have pit or garage passes (not sure regarding age limits), but there might be a chance to get her autograph as well there. 3. If you from the area, keep you eyes/ears out for driver appearances. Danica may be making an appearance somewhere (Meijer was mentioned - though I would expect Meijer to have Marco, since Meijer is a bigger sponsor of Marco's car than Danica's). As you and your daughter probably know, Danica is in demand at tracks, so in case you aren't fortunate to meet her, you might head over to the IndyCar Series's tents and pick up a few things. I'm also sure the "Danica Racing Store" will also be there, and there are some autographed things there, too - of course, for a cost. If you've never been to Kentucky Speedway, it is one of the most fan- and family-friendly race tracks I've been to. I had a fantastic time last year, and I'm taking a family member this year. You and your daughter will enjoy the experience! Have fun!
