MY Go-Kart wont turn good on pavement why?

Q: ok i bought this go kart and it will turn great on dirt but pavement it wont can someone answer this please

A: It all depends on what tires you have on the kart. Knobby tires can "dig" into the dirt causing it to turn in the dirt. The knobbs can't dig into the pavement Slicks work well on pavement because there is a large surface area for friction. Slicks don't work well in dirt because there is nothing to dig into the dirt. The problem could also be the speed of the cart and weight of the kart. If you don't have enough "weight" or down-force on the cart, then high speed turns on pavement will slide regardless of the tire.
