Q: I have booked my boyfriend tickets for this years Grand Prix at Silverstone as a surprise. Can anyone tell what time is best to arrive each day? Thanks
A: It depends on what tickets you have. If it is general admission then I would advise you are at the gates between 5 and 6 am. that way you should be able to find a reasonably good viewing point. If you have seats in the grandstand then I would say 9 ish. that would give you time to walk around, watch other events and generally soak up the atmosphere. Bear in mind that there will be one hell of a lot of traffic all going the same way. I am not going this year *sob* but usually we camp so we don't have to travel through all that traffic. A thought? have you got a car park pass? you usually have to buy them when you get your ticket.
