Q: What is "ECU" in Formula1 ??? What is "ECU" stand for in Formula1 n what is the work of ECU ??
A: like the article that Gatorade liked to the ECU is an "engine control unit"and controls the engine and transmissions parameters from everything to the timing of the injectors to the hall sensors, the throttle is "fly by wire"or does not use cables to controll the throttle and is routed to the ECU to controll the tire slip or as of this years rules the "secu module" in the ECU.the transmission is also routed thru the ECU.basicly the ECU is the drivetrains "brain"to get the best performance out of the vehicles engine.
