Q: i was wondering what is the size of the tyres used in fomula 1...? just by looking its very easy to mistake them...
A: Article 12.4 of the technical regulations: 12.4.1 Complete wheel width front between 305 & 355mm complete wheel width rear between 365 & 380mm. 12.4.2 Complete wheel diameter not to exceed 660mm for dry weather tyres and 670mm for wet weather tyres 12.4.3 Measurements to be taken horizontally at axle height with the wheel in a vertical position and with tyres inflated to 1.4 bar. 12.4.4 Wheel bead diameter between 328 & 332mm.
