why are there no f1 race in america? are there any american f1 racers?

Q:

A: There is no F1 race in the USA because of money. Indy don't "want" the GP enough to pay what other circuits are prepared to pay in order to host a race. There are no US drivers partly because: 1. There aren't very many competent single seater drivers in the USA...look at all the European rejects and South Americans who win the US single seater series for years at a time. 2. The home-grown US series get more TV coverage and drivers naturally gravitate towards them. 3. US drivers don't have the financial backing to compete for the slots with lower-ranked F1 teams...Japanese drivers take most of the rent-a-drive places.
