A: The chassis (ie the body, frame etc excluding the engine) is actually almost identical between the nascar racers. The only difference is the grille design at the front. The huge sponsor's logos may be deceiving but really the cars are almost identical. Each team must purchase an engine from a nascar approved engine manufacturer using approved parts. Keep in mind that the idea of all this similarity between cars in nascar is to keep the racing close ensuring ample passing, control costs and leave a more interesting race to watch.
